Don't forget your leisure battery this winter!

Maintain your battery during the winter to ensure that it is ready for use when you need it in Spring.

Ensure batteries are recharged as soon as the capacity falls below 50% and do not draw power from it until it is charged, as this could cause damage and reduce life.

If you van is not used run the engine monthly if you have a split charge or use and external charger.

On an unsealed lead-and-acid leisure battery, check periodically the electrolyte is just covering the top of all the lead plates inside. If they are low

add de-ionised water to top each cell up.
